Upfront and youthfull aromas of lychee, eldelflower, fennel and anise. Fresh and juicy palate with bursting fruityness next to a light and fresh texture that makes it a summer must-have. Tangerine, lime, and elderflower flavors dominate the palate that leaves a long and floral aftertaste.

Vineyards
Grapes for this wine come from the Medve vineyard. Medve is a 20-hectare monopole vineyard located up on the slopes of the town of Bodrogkeresztúr and it is surrounded by forest. The fact, that we don’t have any neighbors apart from the huge forest– and that we farm the entire plot, allowed us to implement organic farming first here, back in 2019. The vineyard's volcanic and rich clay soil combination gives the wines structure and freshness.
Winemaking
After hand harvest, the pre-chilled grapes were destemmed, gently crushed, and left to soak with its skins for 6 hours before pressing to extract more pure fruit aromas. The wine fermented and aged in stainless steel for 2 months on its lees before bottling. Unoaked style.
The Year
Challenging vintage in the vineyard with fantastic results in the cellar. The 2023 year will be remembered as one of the most challenging ones in terms of vineyard management. At the beginning of summer we had a big hail damage that ruined 90% of the grapes in the Padihegy and Istenhegy vineyards. Also -just like in Villány- Peronospora was a big challenge due to the heavier-than-usual rain (600-650 mm). Despite the challenges, the 2023 wines have incredible freshness and vibrancy. Specially good for sparkling and dry wines.
