Mostly Furmint with some Yellow Muscat. Light yellow with green hues, dried figs and saffron aromas. Full, long and rich on the palate with peach and dried cranberry notes in superfine balance. Natural sugar content: 130 gr/l.

Vineyards
Medve vineyard
High elevation monopole vineyard located 250-270 m above sea level.100% organic, meticulously maintained by Southdown Babydoll sheep. The vineyard is surrounded by forest that helps cool the air at night.
10–30-year-old vines grown in eroded soils that include layers of light-textured rhyolite tuff and brown forest subsoil combined with extremely rocky topsoil rich in Natrium, Magnesium and Kalium.
Winemaking
By the end of September Yellow Muscat and Furmint bunches were perfectly shriveled on organic Medve vineyard.
A rich combination of botrytized and overripe berries got harvested by hand, soaked for 12 hours for preserving fresh fruitiness and botrytis character.
Fermentation was carried out in a container using indigenous yeast.
Base wines kept in stainless steel, blended in May.
Aged in stainless steel tanks, bottled it in May 2023.
The Year
'The 2022 vintage was characterized by a dry, mild, and windy winter. Unfortunately, the drought lasted until August, only about 100 mm of rain fell by the end of autumn, which is 25% of what we would have needed on average. After the mid-April bud-break shoot growth progressed at a slow pace. Due to the drought, they did not reach the appropriate shoot length in several of our plantations. Due to the lack of water at several vineyards the berries were extremely small, and leaves dried up severely. As the only positive result of the drought – plus our sensitive and focused plant protection - there was fortunately no disease on our property. Sensitive plant protection We had a very hot summer - the highest temperature measured in the Hegymegi vineyard was 42 °C. That's why the harvest started early, on August 17 at the Birsalmás vineyard with sparkling wine bases of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, followed by Hegymegi and Medve vineyards. The end of the harvest fell on October 14, with Furmints for our two vineyard-selections, Birsalmás and Medve. To our great delight, the same two vineyards spoiled us with terrific quality botrytized grapes for Aszú! Unfortunately, our harvest volume fell short of expectations, which is mainly due to the lack of rainfall. This year is a milestone in our lives, as the processor of our new winery in Padihegy was just finished for the harvest, so all of our 2022 wines are resting there.'
