On the road to our Tokaj sparkling wine dreams, this bubbly is an important step ahead. Indigenous Furmint and Hárslevelű only, aromas transitioning toward white tea and white flesh nectarine keeping fresh meadow flowers in the background. Fresh and lean in the mouth with honey and great Tokaj minerality. The backbone of the sparkling wine is defined by Furmint while Hárslevelű plays along wonderfully with bold fruity and floral notes.  Tiny, intense and even bubbles, clean, long and balanced aftertaste.

Vineyards

Vineyards: Sárospatak: Királyhegy/Megyer, Mád: Birsalmás-vineyard, Rátka: Középhegy, Padihegy, Istenhegy. Bodrogkeresztúr: Medve-vineyard.

Planted: mostly in Medve-vineyard.

Winemaking

Late August harvest, keeping the varietals separately. Primer fermentation: 20% in oak barrels; Secondary fermentation in the cold cellar from mid-March until the end of August.

Aged for more than 21 months in the bottle.
